Taylor Fritz arrives in Riyadh as the lowest ranked of the six. On the ATP release of 31 August 2026 he stood 10th with 3,475 points, while the other five held Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7. He also arrives on a title. He beat Rafael Jodar of Spain 7-6(2), 6-4 to win Washington on 3 August 2026, his 11th career trophy and his first above ATP 250 level since 2022. At the next event, Montreal, he lost his opening match, then reached the quarter-final at Cincinnati, his last tournament before New York. His season read 31-15 through Cincinnati on 5 September 2026.
Novak Djokovic has won all eleven of their official ATP meetings, the most recent the US Open quarter-final of 3 September 2025. One October night in Riyadh is the exception. In the third-place match of 18 October 2025 Fritz won a 75-minute first set 7-6(4) and Djokovic retired. The Six Kings Slam is an exhibition and the ATP does not count it, so the official record read 11-0 on 5 September 2026 and that night sits outside it.
Against the other five kings Fritz is 17-32 in official ATP meetings, read on 5 September 2026, and exactly one column is his: he leads Alexander Zverev 10 wins to 6. Jannik Sinner leads him 4-1, Carlos Alcaraz 5-1, and Alex de Minaur is one ahead at 6-5. Zverev ended a run of seven straight Fritz wins at Wimbledon on 8 July 2026, taking their quarter-final 6-4, 6-4, 6-2 as Fritz's knee tendinitis flared. The 6-3, 6-4 Fritz won over him in Riyadh in October 2025 is not in that column: the Six Kings Slam is an exhibition and the ATP does not count it.

The serve, and the ace above everything else. ATP credited him with 687 aces across 46 tour-level matches in 2026, read on 5 September 2026, which counts out at 14.9 a match. He led the entire tour in 2025 with 867 aces in 74 matches. On the same 2026 page he won 80 per cent of his first-serve points and 90 per cent of his service games.
The return has not kept pace. The same ATP 2026 page, read on 5 September 2026, has him winning 14 per cent of his return games and 33 per cent of return points, converting 31 per cent of 277 break-point chances. Clay compounds it: he is 0-2 on clay this season and has never won a tour title on the surface.
The Six Kings Slam is played indoors, which is where his tennis has gone furthest. He was runner-up at the 2024 ATP Finals, beating Zverev 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 in the semi-final on 16 November 2024 before losing to Jannik Sinner 6-4, 6-4, and he reached the Dallas final on indoor hard in February 2026. No wind, a true bounce, and no fifth set in which a rival can grind him down.

Early booking through the tournament page
No on-sale date has been announced for the 2026 edition as of 5 September 2026, and the organiser has not said which night Fritz plays. Ask for a notification and Arena will send it the moment the nights and the seats are published.
He was announced in the six-man field on 28 July 2026 for the three Riyadh nights of 21, 22 and 24 October. The draw and the night assignments were still unpublished as of 5 September 2026.
He has played one edition. In 2025 he went 2-1 and finished third, beating Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-4, losing to Carlos Alcaraz 6-4, 6-2, and leading Novak Djokovic 7-6(4) when Djokovic retired.
Not in an official match. Djokovic leads 11-0 in official ATP meetings, most recently the US Open quarter-final of 3 September 2025, and Fritz's only win came in the Six Kings Slam third-place match of 18 October 2025. The Six Kings Slam is an exhibition and the ATP does not count it.
