De Minaur has never played this event. Neither the 2024 nor the 2025 field carried an Australian, and in 2025 Stefanos Tsitsipas took the sixth chair when a season-ending arm injury ruled Jack Draper out. He arrives ranked No. 7 on the ATP release of 31 August 2026, having reached No. 5 on 13 July 2026, the first Australian man inside the top five since Lleyton Hewitt in 2009. Against Jannik Sinner he is 0-13. Against Carlos Alcaraz he is 0-6. Nineteen official ATP meetings, nineteen defeats, the most recent the Australian Open quarter-final of 27 January 2026, lost 7-5, 6-2, 6-1. Against the other three he has wins. He leads Taylor Fritz 6-5 in official ATP meetings, having taken their Turin round robin on 13 November 2025, and he is 3-8 against Alexander Zverev, where all three of his wins came in team events. He is 1-3 against Novak Djokovic, whom he beat at the United Cup in Perth on 3 January 2024. Records read on 5 September 2026.
He went out in New York on 4 September 2026, beaten in the second round by Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4, 7-5, 6-2, his earliest US Open exit in five years. The tournament is still in progress as of 5 September 2026. Seven weeks separate that loss from the first ball in Riyadh, and they return him to an indoor court. He won Rotterdam on 15 February 2026 without facing a break point in the final, and reached the Turin semi-finals in November 2025 on the same surface.

The return is where he wins his matches. ATP's 2026 page, read on 5 September 2026, has him winning 28 per cent of return games and converting 43 per cent of the 388 break points he earned. The Infosys study of 23 December 2024 explains the mechanism: he put 91 per cent of second-serve returns back in court, against a tour average of 82 per cent.
The serve sets the ceiling. ATP's 2026 page, read on 5 September 2026, gives him 57 per cent of first serves in, and 196 aces against 152 double faults. Against players who strike first he has not yet found a way through: 0-13 against Sinner, 0-6 against Alcaraz, and seven Grand Slam quarter-finals without a semi-final.
An indoor hard court in Riyadh is the friendliest surface he could be handed. Rotterdam in February 2026 was, in ATP's own words, his first indoor trophy at an ATP 500 event, and he is the first man in that tournament's history to reach three consecutive finals. The counterweight is opinion rather than a number: a fast indoor court also rewards the first-strike tennis of Sinner and Zverev.

Six Kings Slam 2026 has no published on-sale date, no prices and no night assignments as of 5 September 2026. Ask for a notification and Arena will send it the day tickets open.
He was named in the six-man field announced on 28 July 2026, for the nights of 21, 22 and 24 October in Riyadh. No night has been published for any player as of 5 September 2026.
He has none yet. The 2026 edition is his debut, and neither the 2024 nor the 2025 field included an Australian.
Sinner leads 13-0 in official ATP meetings, read on 5 September 2026. The last was the ATP Finals semi-final in Turin on 15 November 2025, 7-5, 6-2.
