Sinner is the only man who has won the Six Kings Slam, and he has won it twice. Across the 2024 and 2025 editions he played six matches in Riyadh and took all six. He beat Carlos Alcaraz in both finals, 6-7(5), 6-3, 6-3 in 2024 and 6-2, 6-4 in 2025, the edition he finished without losing a set. Only two of those matches reached a deciding set, both in 2024, against Novak Djokovic in the semi-final and Alcaraz in the final. The two runs paid him 12 million dollars: an appearance fee of 1.5 million and a champion bonus of 4.5 million in each edition, the figures published for 2024 and 2025.
He has not played a competitive match since he beat Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon final on 12 July 2026, and that was still the case as of 5 September 2026. A right knee injury took him out of Montreal and Cincinnati, and on 21 August 2026 he withdrew from the US Open. That is the first major he has missed since he made his Grand Slam debut at the same tournament in 2019. The ATP withdrawal statement names Beijing and Shanghai as his targets for the return. As of 5 September 2026 nothing has been published that changes the field announced on 28 July 2026.
Alcaraz leads 10-7 in official ATP meetings, read on 5 September 2026, and he is the only king in this field who leads Sinner. The Riyadh record points the other way, since both finals there went to Sinner. The Six Kings Slam is an exhibition and the ATP does not count it. Their last official meeting was the Monte-Carlo final of 12 April 2026, which Sinner won 7-6(5), 6-3. Against the rest of the field, on the same reading, he leads Djokovic 7-5, Zverev 11-4 with ten straight wins, Taylor Fritz 4-1 and Alex de Minaur 13-0, a series in which de Minaur has never won a completed match.

The serve is the part of his game that changed. The ATP 2026 stats page, read on 5 September 2026, has him at 65 per cent of first serves in, 81 per cent of points won behind the first ball, 454 aces and 93 per cent of service games held. Behind it sits what was always there, a flat ball taken early that leaves no time.
The second serve did not rise with the first. The ATP 2026 page, read on 5 September 2026, has his second-serve points won at 59 per cent. A rolling 52-week measure published on 20 July 2026 put his first-serve percentage at 63.8 and ranked it 35th on tour. Availability is the other question: in one season he has missed Halle, Montreal, Cincinnati and a major.
Riyadh is played indoors, and indoors is his best room in the house. He closed 2025 with Vienna, Paris and the ATP Finals in a row, and a report published on 16 November 2025 put him on a 31-match indoor winning streak, the fifth longest on record. Both of his Six Kings Slam titles were won on the same indoor hard court.

He was named in the six-man field announced on 28 July 2026, and nothing published as of 5 September 2026 changes that. He is recovering from a right knee injury and has not played since 12 July 2026.
